The Royal Guards of Denmark has a rich and fascinating story, with traditions spanning all the way back to the 1600 hundreds. High level of discipline and tireless loyalty to the queen and country is just one of the many skillsets that has made the queens guards renowned in both Denmark as well as abroad.
The Danish lifeguards guard the Danish royal house day and night all year round. Men and women volunteer to serve and protect the royal family. They are certainly not for decoration and have as one of the only guards in the world live ammunition in their rifles.
